Ireland's Denis Lynch is at the top of the Olympic athlete qualification ranking for jumping. There are 15 teams already qualified to compete in London this year. They are Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Great Britain, Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United States and Ukraine.
A total of 15 individual riders will qualify for the London Olympics. Argentina, Colombia, and Japan have each qualified the maximum two riders; Bermuda, Egypt, Jordan, and Syria have qualified one rider each. The remaining five individual slots will be given to riders from FEI Olympic Groups A and B (North and South Western Europe), and C (Central and Eastern Europe; Central Asia) selected through the FEI Olympic Athletes Ranking for jumping on 1st March, 2012.
