
One of Belgium’s top riders, Dirk Demeersman riding Cicero Z took the top honors in the Aalst CSI3* Grand Prix yesterday. Demeersman was best in a field of 56 starters with a time of 43,56 seconds.
Cicero Z is a 12-year-old grey Zangersheide stallion (Carthargo Z) who is owned by Luc van Eeckhoudt & Karin Verdeyen.
Second place went to Belgium’s Philippe Le Jeune aboard the 14-year-old chestnut BWP stallion Vigo d'Arsouilles STX (Nabab de Reve). They stopped the clock in 43,81 seconds.
Third place was earned by Great Britain’s Joe Clee who rode the 9-year-old chestnut BWP mare Diablesse de Muze (Baloubet du Rouet). The crossed the finish line in a time of 44,13 seconds.
Eight riders made it through to the jump-off.
