
The very successful German Studbook, Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes e.V. (HOLST) has taken over the top spot in the studbook rankings for jumping according to the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses. This position was previously held by the Dutch Studbook KWPN. The Holsteiner studbook accumulated 3474 points up until 31/03/2012 (including validated results from 01/10/2011 to 31/03/2012). Top international show jumpers such as Casall La Silla (Caretino), Cristallo (Caretino), Carlo 273 (Contender), Carlina (Carvallo), Clipmyhorse Cash and Go (Cash and Carry) and Kalinka MNM (Cash and Carry) helped the studbook achieve the pole position.
In second place is the French Studbook, Stud-book Français du Cheval Selle Français (ANSF) (SF). They accumulated a total of 3153 for the same period. The best show jumpers responsible for this jump up to second place in the rankings are: Mister Davier (Quiniou), Nino des Buissonnets (Kannan NL, KWPN), Ornella Mail HDC (Lando DK DWB), Orient Express HDC (Quick Star), Mel d’Argences (Quick Star), Polinkska des Isles (Diamant de Semilly).
And in third place is Koninklijk Warmbloed Paardenstamboek Nederland (KWPN) with a total of 2997 points from 01/10/2011 to 31/03/2012. The KWPN had finished last season on a high after securing the top slot in the Studbook rankings. This new position was acquired through the great results from Chaman (Baloubet du Rouet), Vanhoeve (Concorde), Sirius (Laroche), Big Star (Quick Star) and VDL Groep Verdi (Quidam de Revel).
