
The 38 year old Dutch rider, Jeroen Dubbeldam was best in class at the Bremen International horse show today when he claimed first prize with the 11 year old bay KWPN mare BMC Utascha (Lux X Indoctro).
This is their first win together since Dubbeldam officially became her rider at the beginning of November 2011.
They had zero faults in a time of 62.43. The pair were nearly two seconds faster than second place.
Germany’s Mario Stevens took second place with Corlanda OLD (10 year old bay OLDBG mare by Cordalme Z x Landcapitol) with no faults in a time of 64.27 seconds.
Dan Neilson from Great Britain and Varo M (10 year old chestnut KWPN gelding by Pierrot X Weinfurst) placed third with no faults in a time of 65.85 seconds.
There were 52 starters with only 6 making it through to the jump-off.
