
Poland’s Aleksandra Lusina has won the Rolex One to Watch award for 2011.
She moved up 324 places during May of last year from 556th to 232nd place in the Rolex rankings. According to the latest rider rankings from FEI (1/3/2012), Lusina was ranked 94th in the world. Lusina is 32 years old and based in Olsza, Poland.
The Award recognises the Rolex One to Watch rider who has made the biggest jump within or into the Top 250 of the Rolex Rankings during 2011.
Originally Lusina had begun with dressage before moving into jumping where she had been very successful in the young riders. She won individual silver at the Polish Championships for Young Riders.
Starting out in Dressage before moving onto Jumping, Lusina had a very successful career in young riders, including winning individual silver at the Polish Championships for Young Riders. After moving into seniors, she was the first woman to win the Polish Championships in 2007, before winning the title again in 2009.
